Additive Manufacturing Materials and Applications Team (AMMAT)
University

          Goals
The AMMAT team will explore new materials, processes and designs in the realm of additive manufacturing/3D printing.
          Issues
While the field of additive manufacturing is undergoing tremendous growth, realizing its true potential will require new materials and techniques to create functional structures, increasingly complex designs, and facilitate solutions to challenges in manufacturing, health, sustainability, energy and other areas. Achieving these goals requires an ongoing efforts among designers (as well as artists), materials scientists, computational modelers, and of course engineers and scientists from all disciplines.
