Engineering Innovation in Medicine
Goals
The Engineering Innovation in Medicine (EIM) team works with local clinical partners to develop needs-based and human-centered design solutions to pressing healthcare challenges. EIM students visit medical centers and hospitals and engage with practicing engineers and venture capitalists.
Issues
EIM is applying engineering to medicine, design, regulation, insurance reimbursement, and intellectual property and creating needs-based and human-centered design solutions for healthcare applications
