NMIMS University has become the first in India to adopt the globally renowned Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) program, integrating it into its curriculum across all campuses. The launch event, attended by VIP Consortium Director Dr. Edward Coyle and university leaders, highlighted the program’s transformative potential in fostering interdisciplinary, faculty-led research and equipping students with teamwork and problem-solving skills for modern careers. NMIMS plans to expand the program beyond engineering, incorporating arts, sciences, and industry collaboration to create a collaborative, real-world-focused learning community.
