The International VIP Innovation Competition Competition provides a forum for students to showcase research projects spanning various disciplines.
The Global Innovation Competition
VIP teams from any of the 50 institutions that are part of the VIP Consortium are eligible to enter the worldwide Innovation Competition, a series of virtual pitches summarizing teams’ research, solutions, and accomplishments. Entries are submitted in the form of six-minute, virtual presentations, and are scored by an independent panel of judges by adherence to the Heilmeier Catechism as well as presentation effectiveness.

2023 GLOBAL INNOVATION COMPETITION WINNER
Apps4Good created a mobile application that directs unhoused individuals in Scotland to nearby aid organizations and essential services. The team operates at the intersection of software development and social enterprise to provide practical, life-changing support to vulnerable communities.
