Stony Brook University has unveiled an interactive origami installation at the Javits Center, blending science and art. This project was a collaboration between the university's Vertically Integrated Projects Bioengineering Education, Application and Research (VIP BEAR) team and the Biomedical Engineering Society program, motivated to beautify student spaces with STEM-inspired artwork created by the community. The installation showcases kinetic origami designs, demonstrating the practical applications of STEM concepts in artistic forms. By engaging the public, it aims to inspire interest in both scientific and artistic pursuits.
