Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is a public Doctoral University located in Richmond, VA. VCU occupies approximately 150 acres in downtown Richmond and enrolls undergraduate, graduate, and first professional students. VCU consists of 13 schools and one college offering 62 Bachelor’s, 72 master’s, and 41 doctoral degree programs. The VCU Medical College of Virginia Campus houses one of the nation’s top ranked Medical Schools and Schools of Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Health Professionals. It is also the location of the VCU Medical Center which is one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation. The Monroe Park Campus house the Schools of Engineering, Education, Business, Life Sciences, and the College of Humanities and Sciences, among others. VCU is ranked as “Highest Research Activity” in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
